Our Learning Values

As part of our school development work we have created '5 learning values' which we promote within school. These values represent key skills we wish Beaconside pupils to develop and will be represented using our new logo.

We will be referring to these within our learning and teaching, in assemblies and you will see our logos 'pop up' around school. We hope that by encouraging these skills, our pupils will become life-long learners.

Learners are motivated, confident and actively involved in their learning; they talk meaningfully about how they learn; they are able to make improvements to their learning independently of the teacher and consistently make good progress.
