Promoting British Values

Beaconside actively promotes British Values and challenges opinions or behaviours that are contrary to them.

According to Ofsted, 'fundamental British Values' are:

• democracy
• the rule of law
• individual liberty
• mutual respect
• tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith.
