The government provides funding to all primary schools to improve sporting opportunities, participation and the quality of physical education offered to children. The primary sports premium grant awarded to Beaconside, saw us further develop and embed the successes of previous years and benefit from the commitment shown to physical activity and well-being during the pandemic. We are delighted that our approach to physical activity, sport and well-being has been recognised with the Platinum Sports Mark Award. We very much hope that this year will see our provision grow further to meet the needs of our pupils. Our sport development plan details the steps we intend to take.
