Busy term - Our Year 4 have started Rugby coaching, Year 5 have been visited by the Fire Service, Year 2 have continued their bird watching, Year 1 have visited the local Library, Reception and Nursery have visited the Post Office and Police Station and our Year 4 and Year 1 classes entertained us with very enjoyable assemblies.

A belated well done to our Choir whose carol singing efforts raised over £100. We are going to use this money to support Christian Aid and purchase a herd of goats for a community in
We've completed the replacement to the fencing surrounding the Foundation Stage Playground, our Gymnastics, Squash, Football and Multi-skills Clubs have started as well as Years 5, 2 and Reception entertaining us with very enjoyable assemblies.
In the last two weeks, Year 2 have worked with the RSPB, Years 4 and 5 have received coaching from Aston Villa Football Club and we held a parents’ information session.
Well done to our School Council who organised Bring a Bear to School Day and raised £135 for Children in Need, our Year 6 children who entertained us with their assembly performance, our ECO Committee who attended an ECO meeting at Waseley Hills and our tour guides who were fantastic ambassadors on our Open Morning. We've also sent 18 shoeboxes to the Shoebox appeal.
Well done to our Year 4 children who entertained us with their assembly performance and the Year 4 football team who finished as runners up in a recent football tournament. We’ve also started our Gymnastics Club and had new carpet fitted in our Library and Entrance Hall.
Busy last week of the half term as we enjoyed our ECO week. We all took a trip to the cinema on Monday to watch WALL-E and then on Tuesday we were visited by Rupert Brakespear, WCC ECO advisor, to launch our WWWWW campaign. Lots of activities through the week as well as our Recycling Disco.
Lots on this week; we celebrated our Harvest Festival on Friday with some great performances by our children as well as many generously donated gifts which will be sent to members of our local community. Our school clubs continued as did squash coaching. We also had our photgraphs taken.
We've enjoyed taking part in 'Learn to Sign' week - including a parents' class! Year 2 entertained us with their class assembly (including dancing) and Year 5 and 6 were visited by 'Museum on the Move'.
The Autumn term continues and we congratulate our Reception class for their first whole school and parent assembly. They, along with Year 6, have also enjoyed squash coaching on Friday mornings. October is walk to school month and this week is Learn to Sign week.We hope you can join in.
Well done to our Year 3 children who enjoyed their first swimming lesson. We also welcomed some parents of our Reception children for lunch and our new football club started.
