| Beaconside School Council joined groups from other local schools to debate ideas on how to improve their communities in a special event at the Council Chamber of Bromsgrove District Council last week.
The School Council took part in debating what they would do to improve their schools and communities. They joined other council members to discuss tricky questions, before each group formally reported their findings back to the other groups. Chairman of Bromsgrove District Council Cllr. Caroline Spencer, Leader of the Opposition Cllr Peter MacDonald and Leader of the Council Cllr. Roger Hollingworth were present on the day to hear the students’ reports and offer encouragement. |
