Parents and Community

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

This may be through support in classrooms, on school visits, at extra curricular activities, lending a hand with 'school jobs' or attending one of our information sessions. We also have many opportunities for parents to visit the school when we usually show off the talents and achievements of our children.  Parents are also most welcome in school to discuss the work of their children, although it would be helpful if this could be arranged outside normal school hours. At least two parents' consultation meetings are held each year at school and an annual written report is sent to parents. We do our best to educate your children for their future but we do so much better when we can work together. Parents are sent a regular newsletter via their child. We try to put as much information as we feel is useful to parents and give you advance notification of school activities.

PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

We are a small friendly group of people who meet regularly to help organise fund raising and social events for the whole school - these have included discos, raffles and a summer fair.

We would welcome anyone to join us: Mums ,Dads Grannies or Granddads or any other carers who may be able to bring along fresh ideas for fund raising or social events, or who would just like to help. Even if you don't want to be on the committee, we are always grateful for helpers for specific events we organise. So why not think about joining us!
